Design Brief
A client had received positive feedback from a new product that Hillside Product Design had previously worked on. Based on their success from the first concept they then asked for a new design that would this time be intended for mass production. The products function is to prompt the end user to hold their smart phone in a certain place so that they can receive credit. The client had already specified the shape that they required, we were to work within the available space.

End product
The critical considerations that were identified for the product were to accommodate all of the electrical components in a form that was the correct shape and size whilst being compliant with technical requirements such as those relating to Near Field Communication. And then to design the enclosure so that it was strong, easy to manufacture, aesthetically pleasing and commercially viable.
