A well-deserved congratulations needs to be extended to Van Guard who have won the coveted overall Business of the Year title at the 2016 Express & Echo Business Awards that took place at Sandy Park, Exeter recently.
It followed a year in which Van Guard, based at Exeter Airport Business Park, completed its re-shoring strategy, meaning the company is now a completely UK-based manufacturer.
Van Guard are at the forefront of the commercial vehicle accessory market. They have a range of van accessories for both the inside and outside of your van to help keep your kit safe and secure.
Hillside Product Design have been working for Van Guard since 2007 and have completed numerous projects for them over the years. Nigel Burn, Works Director at Van Guard previously complimented Hillside by stating “The service and personal attention from the design team was excellent.”
Alongside Hillside, the injection moulding and tooling have now been totally commissioned at Amtek Plastics Devon site. This enabled Van Guard to join and fully support the Made in Britain campaign.
With this local support and commitment, Van Guard had the confidence to grow knowing that their products have been designed and manufactured to a high quality making it a British product to be proud of.
