The #UKMfgUnite online directory is a new initiative, developed with the key purpose of bringing the manufacturing community together to collaborate and share networks, best practice and advice. The directory is not-for-profit and aims to bring work back into the UK and build supply chain capability.
We’re delighted to have received news that Hillside Product Design has been approved to join a list of nearly 300 businesses already collaborating and using the portal to fight back against the damaging effects of COVID-19.
Hillside’s Marking Manager, Holly Hollis says “we’re delighted to be part of #UKMfgUnite. Clients are looking to understand and adopt the benefits of manufacturing on their doorstep. Reshoring is a large part of what we do and we are proud of our success in this area. We all have a role in looking after the business next door and there is an increasing awareness of the benefits this has for the UK in general. Don’t forget we are all the business next door to many potential suppliers and customers.”
Collaboration Director, Garry Myatt says “With the unprecedented pandemic of COVID-19 it’s been impressive how UK business’s and more importantly the Manufacturing Community have come together to save lives in such a short space of time.
