Hillside Design are very pleased and happy to congratulate Tecna Display on recently winning their 2nd Queens’s award for international trade, having received their first in 2012. The award represents the highest honour that a UK business can receive. Jonathan Evitt, Managing Director of Tecna Display, said: “The Queen’s Award is a huge honour and we are absolutely delighted to have it for a second time for our achievements in international trade. We were the first company in the display and exhibition systems industry to ever win a Queen’s Award, which shows what an achievement it was.”
Tecna Display have a wide range of display solutions that are lightweight, portable, fast to build without the requirement for tools. They can be used to create dynamic structures and display environments for exhibition stands, graphic displays, signage, conferences, events, museums and retail interiors. Tecna have recently released its new Affinity range which provides great modularity and the ability to re-purpose displays quickly and efficiently. The patented profile and connector design allow for multiple retro-fit accessories from other existing Tecna product ranges to help provide as much functionality as possible.
Tecna continues to develop and move ahead. Since receiving their first award they have steadily increased their presence in both the US and Europe. They now sell into 40 countries. Their export turnover has grown year on year. Exports comprise about 65% of their turnover and are increasing.
Hillside Design have enjoyed working as the Product Design Team for Tecna over the many years that the companies have been associated. During this time Hillside Design have taken great pleasure in seeing Tecna develop and expand as a company, as we ourselves have done the same. Jonathan Evitt told us that “We couldn’t have achieved the awards and the success we have, without the hugely professional and committed design input from Hillside”
