Pallet Stacker Frame

The client was an entrepreneur with a background in the logistics and freight industry. The client had experience of several systems which could double the capacity of vehicles but these were time consuming to install and often prevented the easy movement of pallets at multi drop deliveries. 

The brief was to design a foldable frame that would fit around a standard CHEP pallet and create a second deck. Initial calculations indicated that this was feasible and a series of frames which were prototyped and evaluated in a national distribution hub for a large confectionary manufacturer. 

Unfortunately the client could not close the negotiation on the deal through lack of funding.
