Bait Catapult

The client is a well-known brand name in specialist Carp angling. The client had developed a prototype of a new range of catapults for Boilie and Particle baits which had been extensively tested in the field. 

The brief was to refine the design for manufacture as a dual shot injection moulded part with a soft non slip ergonomic handle. The prototype was reverse engineered into 3D CAD and a rapid prototype produced to verify the interpretation and the ergonomics. CAD data was issued for tooling in conjunction with control drawings.
