Crocodile Clip for Electric Fencing

The client is a long established manufacturer of electric fencing products. Hillside Product Design was commissioned to design a crocodile clip connector for electrifying fences. The design was developed from sketches into 3D CAD. 

The design was configured for a snap together assembly and the spring ensures both jaws are connected to the circuit. The client later wanted a similar crocodile clip that included features to allow it to be used to connect to car battery terminals as well. Parts were manufactured from CAD data and control drawings with full support for the manufacturers up to signing off.
