Roof Bar Load Retainer

The client is an established manufacturer of aftermarket vehicle accessories. Hillside Product Design was approached to assist with designing mouldings for a roof bar load retainer. The client already had a concept design for the product but needed assistance with optimising the parts for injection moulding.

The parts were developed using both FEA and empirical prototype testing. We arranged manufacture of the parts and assisted the client in subsequent on vehicle testing and certification at independent testing.
